Experience
I tutored for my university in Jamestown and I loved it! I mostly helped students with Python and Java. I privately tutored proof writing skills for discrete mathematics, as well. I interned as a computer programmer's assistant and built a useful intranet application for the company using C#, html, CSS, ASP.NET, MVC, and bootstrap. I started a competitive programming club at my university and ran it as the president for a year and a half. We went to one east coast competition. My favorite problems had to do with finding prime numbers. I taught English as a second Language in Ukraine for 2 years and speak a moderate amount of Russian. Hobbies
I have a very broad range of interests. Right now I love everything to do with virtual reality and the latest technologies that go along with it. I play a lot of video games and watch a lot of movies. I also spend every morning outside playing sports or running. I play piano and guitar. I spend a lot of time writing and playing music. I was the lead in my University's rendition of Cabaret! I created a 2D top-down star trek game in Java from scratch. I also ran a private server for Runescape for one summer. I spend a lot of time solving competitive programming problems with JAVA. I mostly go for problems dealing with prime numbers, but I love solving any kind of problem. I have recently moved cross country from New York to California. I love to travel, so the cross country road trip was great!
